Hi Everyone! My name is Paige, and I have a passion for old houses and home renovation projects. If there is one thing I’ve learned from countless DIY projects, it’s that trial and error is just part of the game. I always look to blogs for inspiration, tips, and tricks. My hope, is that this blog will be that place for you. We’ve completed projects I thought would save money and realized it wasn’t worth it, We’ve bought and rented supplies that weren’t worth our money or time, and we’ve done things that I thought would look good but it just simply didn’t. I hope you learn from our mistakes, and find your own inspiration from our successes!

Our home is 120 years old – it was built in 1900 by George Holton. It still has much of the original woodwork, including the staircase. It has all the original doors and hardware with skeleton keys. It has character, and we love it. My goal, is to integrate our style while restoring and maintaining as much historical character and as we can. I guess somehow mixing functional and new, with historical and charming. Is that possible? I guess we will find out!
